Raini Industries India Pvt Ltd inaugurated its revamped fabrication shop at 139, 12th Main road, SIDCO Industrial Estate, Chennai on Monday, Feb 8, 2021. This facility was inaugurated by Thiru J. Sivaraman, Director - India Supply Operations, Kone Elevators India Private Limited. The new facility is built covering an area of approximately 12,500 square feet and is equipped to handle modern fabrication needs. RIIPL’s fabrication shop mainly targets the Indian market but is also open to the international market owing to the company’s export track record. The company’s goal is to competitively manufacture high quality products that meet customer’s expectations in short spans of time by leveraging technological advancements.
The event began with the traditional lamp lighting followed by a warm welcome note by Mrs. Nisha Rathnaraj, Director, RIIPL. Mrs. Aasha Rathnaraj, one of the directors at RIIPL, explained the change in factory layout in a short presentation and briefed the audience on the recent technological additions to the company's infrastructure. The Managing Director, Mr. L. Rathnaraj, addressed the gathering with an emotional recollection of eventful memories from his experience with the Kone team. Further, he explained the motive and vision behind the factory expansion project. The Chief Guest did the honours at the ribbon cutting ceremony in the presence of senior members from Kone Elevators India Pvt Ltd and employees of RIIPL. The guests were taken on a brief tour of the factory as well as the 2.5 acres of greenery within the premises. The MD of RIIPL, being a nature lover himself, has dedicated this portion of land to an artificial pond and garden which serves as a natural habitat to ducks, chicken, turkeys, quails etc. A sapling planting event was held to commemorate the factory opening ceremony. After a brief tour of the revamped factory, the Guest of Honour Mr. J. Sivaraman delivered the presidential address. He appreciated the efforts put into the restructuring of the factory and wished the company all the very best for its future. Furthermore, he commented on the ever changing consumer market and how it demands tremendous attention to detail in various aspects. The event ended with a thank you note by Mr. Jaishankar, Production Head at RIIPL.
